Just curious as to which DVC is the least expensive...we just returned from POR and only go every 2 to 3 years .....and only stay onsite .....

Have heard so many great things about the Villas...

So which one is the least expensive just to rent for a 3 to 4nights
thanks!!!
Sorry forget to say for 4 people 2 kids...

If you are thinking of renting points, OKW will be less expensive if you compare the same size rooms. If you are able to secure a reservation for a standard view room at the BWV, there will not be a lot of difference between the two, but OKW will still be slightly less expensive. You can use the calculator (link at top of the DVC Forum) to determine the number of points required per room. It depends on the dates of your stay and the size room that you need. Your party could fit in a studio. The most often quoted price to rent is $10/point.

It can be difficult for renters to get a standard view room at the BWV. Those rooms generally book up during the first few weeks that reservations can be made. A renter would have to find an BWV owner who is willing to make the reservation as soon as the window opens. Some owners (not all) charge more per point to make a reservation at that time. If you rent, be sure to ask the owner about his/her cancellation policies and ask questions if you do not completely understand.

If you are planning to book through CRO and pay cash for the room, OKW is usually less expensive, but it really depends on availability and the discounts that may or may not be offered for each resort.

If you are booking through CRO, OKW will be less expensive than BWV. BWV also generally offers less discounts because this resort fills up very fast. BWV is a very much sought after location at WDW. OKW has bigger 1 br.

With 4 adults and 2 kids, you will need a two bedroom unit. The one bedroom is too small for you.

OKW should be the cheapest during the week renting points, cash for a value or moderate will be the cheapest for the weekend.

The OP said "4 people 2 kids". I'm sure she meant two adults and 2 kids, not 4 adults and 2 kids.

We stayed at OKW last month in a 2BR. My brother and his family came up and joined us for a couple of days and brought a queen size air mattress. There is also a pull out sofa. The air mattress was put along side of the sofa at night and leaned against the wall during the day. There was plenty of room. Depending on the age/size of the children, you shouldn't have any trouble in a 1BR unit at OKW, their accomodations are much large than BWV, I wouldn't try 4 adults and 2 kids there. JMO.
