Is Ohana worth it?

We are getting our DD a quick serve for that night. (I think the age of 9 cut off for dining is stupid!)

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but pretty sure if your daughter is at the table with you she will be charged regardless of if she eats or not since it's an AYCTE establishment.

For us it what was not worth it. Girlfriend and I both thought the food was mediocre at best ( like buffet food ) & service was bad. This was the only bad TS experience we had as we loved BOG, tuttio Italia, Chefs De France and Sci Fi. The dessert at Ohana was great

All depends on who you ask! The bread pudding is the best!! The meal can vary with the night, but we usually enjoy it.

I have a late reservation here in November. I did a late one because of Magic Kingdom closing at 8 PM that night. I like the late reservation so that I can go to my room after eating such a heavy meal. One time we had a late reservation and got to watch the fireworks from there. I never felt rushed and did not feel as if the food selection was old or not fresh.

Touring Plans is not operating the way the third party bots were operating. ADR's are not all scooped up daily, and hen sold to folks who need them. ALl you need to do is register with TP. There is no charge.

So Touring Plans is allowed to do this because the service is free? You don't need to subscribe?

we just returned from our trip and we had a fantastic night at Ohana ..our server was fantastic and so was the food...the meat was so tender and the shrimp was delicious...we had plenty of servings and were asked if we would like more appetizers and our drinks were filled and we had coffee to go with dessert...we had no issues and would go back in a heart beat

We love Ohana. We eat a light early lunch, so we are starving by dinner. That way we can feel like we ate enough to get our money's worth. I love the noodles and the shrimp.

Although the salad was different this last visit and it was not good. But that was a good thing so we didn't fill up on salad.

I'm not much of a meat eater but still like the food, especially the bread pudding. My sister loves ohana and it is her must do every trip.

No. They do not scoop the ADR up and then sell it. They just let you know if there is an ADR available. There is no charge.

Right, that's what the Dining Buddy app did and Disney shut it down. So I'm assuming Touring Plans doesn't get a cease and desist from Disney because they aren't charging for the service.

That's what the Dining Buddy app did as well and I scored some great reservations before Disney made them close up shop. I will definitely be checking out the Touring Plans ADR finder!

So worth it for my family. We went last September and food was delicious. It was out fave meal the entire trip. Going back to WDW in July and Ohana was our must do again. I had no problems getting several ADRs at my 180 mark. (Once made your plans then canceled the ones we didn't need)

My suggestion is if you can't get ADR before your trip then just check the day of or before you want to go. There's usually some cancelations within your 24 hr window.
