I agree with you - October would work, too.

We vacation in the fall for F&W, early December and again in the spring (April/May) and also have an August use year. It works just fine.

October would be "best", followed by September and then August for your dates.

Since your vacation times are spread out throughout the year, I don't think use year really makes any difference. Since banking is suspended during the last 4 months of your use year, you have to be mindful of that.

Yes, I missed that one. Now my list would be (in order of best to just fine):

April, October, September, & August.

Of course, many members' patterns change over the course of their membership, so what starts out perfect can end up not so perfect!

We vacation during the same time, love Christmas at WDW and enjoy the cooler weather months. We have an October UY and it has worked well for us.

Thanks everyone. We are still weighing options as far as direct v resale and which resort, but I am hoping to make a move by the end of the year. Hopefully you all will be welcoming me home soon!

I have a september use year and it has worked well for us. However, one thing to keep in mind is that you will be limited on resale contracts. It took us about a year to find one that we liked with our use year. Also these tend to go very fast, so if you see a september that you like, don't wait on it too long.

For that scenario, it depends on how the trips will be concentrated. IF the trips will be evenly divided, it likely doesn't make a lot of difference. Oct is like the best and June to August the worst.
