Is my "Unofficial Guide" still accurate?

I have a "2003 Unofficial Guide to Disney". (It was the most recent version my library had in). In it, it says that if you buy 2 one-day/one-park tickets, you can get the first for regular price and the second one $5 off. He called it Bounce-back or something like that.

Does Disney still offer this? If so, does the second ticket have to be used the VERY next day or within a certain time frame? I'd like to buy a one-day on Tuesday and then get another one for Friday at a $5 savings (if I can). Also, I have two kids. Can I get $5 off each of their tickets too?

I think deciding what tickets to buy is the most complex part of Disney planning! :) (Just my opinion there).

I have the 2004 with me. What section should I look in?
Also AAA sells tickets too for a discount!

I got this from www.mousesavers.com :

Add a second day of One-Day/One-Park admission when buying the first day and save $5 plus tax on the additional day. The second day can be used at any park (does not have to be same park as first day) but you cannot "hop" between parks on the same day. Expires 4 days after purchase. Total price for two days' admission when purchased this way:

$105.44 Adults (10 and older); $82.01 Children (3-9)
So the answer is you have 4 days to use the 2nd day.

If it were me, I would buy the shortest hopper available(4 day I believe) and save the unused days for a future trip as they never expire.

Check out www.mousesavers.com for all the details on how to get the deals and discounts.

See, that's my dilemma! I'm not sure IF or WHEN I'll make it back to Disney. Plus, I'd be spending almost twice as much by getting the hoppers. The ticket decision is the toughest part of the planning!

Disney still offered the Bounce-Back pass as of January. I forget what it's called, but the option was clearly labeled on the ticket placemat-thing they use to show options.

Thanks for reading the Guide!

DeanneL...I was thinking about your situation and I saw this posted on another thread:
Alamo (800-560-2397) sells 3 day hoppers for $169 and you do not have to rent a car from them to get the deal.

Maybe you could do this? Then you could hop from one park to another and it's only $65 more than what you would pay for 2 one day one park tickets with the bounce back thing.

Also, have you checked out www.mousesavers.com yet? They give some really great detailed info on the passes and whatever discounts might be available. Also, last year we bought some tickets from ticketmania and got a great deal and had no problems. They were for DisneyQuest but it was a great price. Might be worth checking out ticketmania. There's a link on the mousesavers site to them.

Good luck with the tickets. Let us know when you finalize your plans.
