Are we really going to start multiple is my trade good threads?

Only until vmk starts crashing then we can switch to the "GR.. can't log in" threads. :stir:

What a good idea! Merging threads into just one instead of making multiple threads asking the same question. :thumbsup2

They wouldn't be so bad, if they were in the trade forum where they belong...

I'm lost.. What are you talking about?

they mean all the threads that say "oh i just traded ___ for ________. is this a good trade?" i don't mind reading through these threads (or occasionally posting on them) because i think it helps put people at ease to know that others think they made a good trade instead of having them worry about possibly losing something great.

The worst part is value is only in the eyes of the beholder!!

If you value red flips more than a pirate hat then so be it and its a good trade for you. Even if you can still buy the red flips for 25 credits. Maybe the hat isnt even worth 25 credits to you. (I know extreeme example.)

I think people need to start looking at what they have and what they get as value to self not to others and maybe the prices of things would be more fair too.

Thank you, well said! ::yes::

I think about this a lot when I trade in VMK...it is so spur-of-the-moment for me, I get nervous that it is a "bad" trade because I don't know the value of what I have...but then I think to myself...I don't want this item, and I want what they have, so it must be a good trade. I try not to think about what they are going to turn it around for and if I should have saved it and who is laughing at me for trading what...because tomorrow is another day and I will hopefully have another thing and keep trading. Everyone has their "thing." Mine is (currently) pink furniture, and not Herbie Posters...so someone else who wants all the posters and doesn't care about a pink Nemo chair is a good match for me, regardless of relative "worth."

At least that's what I keep telling myself.
