I went to Kohl's on Tuesday for some work shoes. Since it was BOGO, I looked around for a fun pair too. I tried a shoe I liked on my left foot. It was comfy, so I walked around the riser to try it out. As I was coming back around, I was almost knocked over by an out of sorts looking guy running out of the womens section of the shoe dept. After collecting my balance I came back around the corner and my own sandal was gone.  Me, a store associate and several women scoured the dept and the shoe never turned up. It has since been 48 hours and still no shoe. I mean- it happened so quick and we looked in and under everything, including fixtures. I honestly think that man took my old scangy sandal home for his foot fetish pleasure. :sad1: I loved this sandal. It was the most comfy sandal I have ever owner and I actually feel bad for it.

Kohl's let me take a pair of clearance sandals for free- got a nice Mootsies Tootsies pair, but geez.... really... who does that??    :scared1:

Watch your shoes!

Bury the survivor in the backyard and erase the incident from your mind. That is super creepy. :scared:

:scared1:

:lmao:

Maybe you could get your shoe's photo on a milk carton or something!

Seriously, though - I have never heard of anything like that! :faint:

I was also at Kohl's on Tuesday doing the BOGO boot thing.:thumbsup2

:rotfl2:
I am so sorry for your loss! That is strange. We used to have a foot creep in NYC that hung around Wall street. You would go out to lunch and if you weren't paying attention he would be rubbing his nylon socked foot up your leg. OOOOH CREEPY! (And he was wearing a ring so imagine a dh doing that at lunch?!) We would see him and then he would be gone- then reappear weeks later then gone again. :scared1:

When I was about 4 my mom took me to Woolco for a new skirt. The dressing rooms were crowded, so she just had me try on the skirt by the table that had the clearance skirts. She turned around to grab my skirt off the table, but someone had taken it.

Yes, someone bought my skirt at Woolco from behind my mother's back. :scared1:

It was my favorite skirt, too. :sad1:

Seriously, all we could do was laugh. Kohl's was very nice about it. The worst part was that I was at my little part time job- very casual- and had to go back. My half hour break was already over 2 hours. I couldn't go back with one shoe and would have looked rediculous in capris and the dress shoes I was buying. I never had a chance to finish picking a casual pair because of the whole incident, so they let me grab the clearance sandals. For the BOGO I just picked up 2 pair of the dress shoes with the intention of exchanging one pair next time DBF is available to go with me. I will never feel secure in a shoe dept again.

What a great attitude! And a funny post! Thank you :lmao:

just couldn't decide which smilie fit???

so sorry for your loss. do you like the replacement sandals at least??

That's just bizarre! Did a salesperson see it happen? What did you say when you told them?

When I worked in a hotel's central reservations department, we used to have a couple of foot-fetish guys that would call in every now and again. They only did it every few weeks and both of them were always very polite, almost sounding apologetic about it, but still. And since I was a trainer, I had to find a way to mention to new ladies we hired that it was OK to hang up without explanation on either of the men who might call and ask if they were wearing heels.

That is creepy!

Speaking of fetishes, a long time ago I worked in an office and we had a crank phone caller that would ask the women if they were wearing pantyhose. Well, by the time I answered the phone and got the caller, I was prepared. After he asked if I was wearing pantyhose, I said, "Sure, are you?" Before he had a chance to answer, I asked him if they were control top, what color they were, and a few other things. Then he hung up on me! The nerve!

I don't love the replacements. but I do like them and they are comfy.:thumbsup2

No- she thought I must have just misplaced it- must happen alot. I told her I knew I left it right there, it disappeared right when that guy almost knocked me over. After searching for an hour, she came to the same conclusion- he must have taken it.

 UCCHHH!! nasty!! Whata perv! I am in shock!

Oh lord just imaginge what he' doing with it! gag......:scared:

I am trying very hard not to!!;)
