Is my PH plan feasible?

I am able to squeeze in one day of parks on an upcoming trip to a resort near Disney (not Disney owned). I am torn between wanting to do my favorite park, MK, and trying out the new Guardians and Ratatouille rides at Epcot.
I was thinking of buying a park hopper ticket on a MVMCP night, going to MK in the morning. Then I would hop over to Epcot in the afternoon and buy ILLs for Ratatouille and Guardians. On that day, MK opens at 8:00 am and Epcot closes at 9:30 pm, if that info is relevant. (We will not qualify for early entry.)
I have not been there since the implementation of Genie+ or ILLs, so I’m not sure if my plan is totally off the wall or not.
Do you think this will work? Do you have any other advice?

If you are staying offsite, you will be eligible to get $ILL for Guardians at Park opening (On site guests can book starting at 7AM). I'm not sure how fast they run out, but you don't want to wait until you hop to try to purchase the $ILL, they may all be gone by then. Since you can choose your return time for this, you would just need to pick a time after 2.

Ratatouille is standby or G+ now, so if you don't want to have to wait in a long standby line to ride, you would need to purchase G+ on the day of your visit (any time after midnight) and even though you are offsite, you can book your first G+ at 7AM. Since you would be hopping, you would need to wait until the return time is after 2PM before booking. You can't choose a specific time for G+ so you would need to keep an eye on the return times until you see one that works for you. I think these tend to go pretty fast, so you probably wouldn't have to wait to long to get a return time for after 2.

Thank you! Would I be better off starting out at Epcot on a non-MVMCP day and hopping over to MK later?
If so, how would you approach getting to GG and Ratatouille?

Historically, party days at MK see lower crowds in the morning which grow as the day progresses, especially starting at 4:00 when party guests can enter the park. Your plan to start in the MK makes the most sense for sure. We have been to the MK on many party days and this has always been our experience.

You will be eligible to purchase ILL$ for GotG as soon as the park opens. Take whatever time is offered as the return time for ILL$ is not enforced so you will be able to arrive at any time after it is called.

Remy will be the greater challenge as it is not an ILL$ ride so you will need to plan to wait in the standby line. It will eat time in your day but if you’re not planning to watch harmonious, hopping in line just before park close might be your best option for a shorter line. As you are staying offsite, Remy will be a longer wait for you regardless of when you arrive.
