apostolic4life said:All persons staying at WDW via the same reservation are required to be on the same plan. This means if DW, DD13, DD4, DD1 and I go to WDW on the same reservation in the same room, we must all have the same options on our MYW tickets. If one person wants the DDP, all of us are required to have the DDP; if three of us want the park hopper option, we all must have the park hopper option.
You will not be able to opt out of the DDP for your 3 year old. You won't have that option if you purchase her the park admission (which IMHO is the ethical thing to do). If you start out on an unethical foot you will have to be sure the child who is excited to be three now goes along with the deception.
I hope you make the decision that will work out for the best..........remember, our children learn from the example we set for them.

This is only true if you have booked a package, if you just have a room reservation, then each person in the room can get a different ticket and not everyone has to have the park hopper option or the same number of days on their ticket. I lot of people buy their tickets online or thru the Disney Store before they go WDW so these things can be purchased separately.
Now I understand the OP is booked on a package with DDP, I just wanted to clear up about reservations and tickets in general.
I know this is kind of off topic, but if the OP is trying to figure what is best for her budget, I would hope she is aware of all the facts of DDP ordering.
