Is my 20D overkill to carry around the parks?

I really don't mind its weight and it would be in a bag when not in use. I would probably have my 28-90 mm lense.Any comments/suggestions?

For years I carried my Canon EOS1 film camera to WDW. It was a "hoss" camera but I wanted the best tool for my pictures. I now carry a Digital Rebel with the battery pack and 28-135mm IS lens. It's a little lighter than the EOS1 but not by much. Still I want my best tool for my favorite picture place.
