Is Mousekeeping still cleaning resort rooms?

I hope I'm wrong, but I thought I came across a post somewhere where it was mentioned that mousekeeping was not making beds and cleaning rooms, at present during pandemic. This person was upset at the idea of paying for a deluxe resort and not having clean towels delivered each day via mousekeeping. The post said one had to call for them. Is this true or still happening as of present?

You get service every other day, They do not touch the beds, They replace towels, coffee stuff and take trash.
If you need anything you can call housekeeping or ask a cm in the hall.

It’s weird I’ll admit but not as bad as you think. It’s nice not being interrupted during a nap/rest for a change lol.

My trips from Aug to Jan were all the same ,still doing this.

Having crisp sheets every day is one of my favorite parts of staying in a hotel, so I was a bit disappointed, but I knew this would be the case going in.

The room was really well appointed with towels and everything when I came in and they did a great job replenishing everything on the in between day.

I did still manage to get interrupted twice as they were doing room checks daily still.

We just stayed two nights this week and we did not get housekeeping at all.

lol... 'Mousekeeping'

I know that's what they're called, but to see it in context without any sort of wink to the pun made me laugh.

I believe the current policy is to replace amenities every two days. No making of beds, but towels are replaced, coffee is replaced, and trash is emptied.

Just a note that daily security checks are still happening so regardless, someone will enter your room/open the door each day to look inside. They will do this even if the 'Room Occupied' is on the outside of the door.

Mousekeeping has changed but daily security checks have not.

That's because they only come every other day of your stay. Check in day doesn't count so the mousekeepers don't come until day 3, which you didn't have.

Yes, that's why I commented to let the OP know.

Yes- I’ve heard all the reasons but bartenders and wait staff are still working. And they are coming into contact with humans, not just belongings. Guess I have to take it up with the unions🤣😡
