Is Monday 15th October 2012 school holidays?

Is this week half term anywhere in the UK or France? I'm pretty sure half term is later on but I wanted to be sure!

i think october is quite busy throughout as it is halloween season, and most of the decoration is up from beginning of october.

up here in the north of scotland they are off for 2 weeks also so plenty time for road trip breaks to disney

Our schools are off that week. We did Halloween during the same time a couple of years ago, and it wad generally great. I don't recall any queues.

i've been to DLP a couple of times in October when its been Scottish school holidays, nice and quiet midweek.

England and Wales have either the week of 22nd or 29th October as half term this year.

We are going Monday to Friday that week. It's October holidays in Edinburgh.

Belgium and France doesn't have school holidays at October 15.
In Belgium the school vacation starts on Monday October 29, and France aswell

I don't think it will be that busy in the parks

It is the week before the English schools.

We went a few years ago during the week, I think from the 13th and were amazed at no queues.

Have been the following week and it gets worse the closer you get to the 31st

yes, some will (our half term week is w/c 22nd October), and the French schools all break up on 27th October, along with more English schools.

Oh well! We'll be on our first visit with our 1 year old so we'll be taking it slow anyway I imagine. Still trying to work out if I should go to one of the Terrorific nights?!
