Is mobile ordering still required for quick service?

I'm assuming that if you wanted to stop at a QS restaurant at the last min., you can now order at the counter (including at hotel dining), and no longer have to mobile order?

Nope, sorry, the situation is what it has been since the re-opening. While there are exceptions to the need for mobile ordering (allergies, no smart phone, needing to pay in cash), everyone is very strongly encouraged to mobile order. If you just show up and assume you can walk to the counter to order without what the cast member guarding the door considers to be a valid reason, you will most likely be denied.

Thanks, good to know! We will expect to mobile order everything.

I would expect mobile ordering to still be expected.
Personally, I love it. I can order my food whenever we have time in the morning, decide when we want to pick it up. Walk over to pick up our food and skip what used to be a really long line. With them not letting people in until their food is ready, I love how much easier it is to find a place to sit.

I’m guessing many, maybe most, like mobile ordering, and don’t mind the current process. I can see why they would. I prefer to be able to choose. We used mobile ordering before this era but probably only a handful of times per week when we knew for sure where, what, and about when we wanted to eat. But it doesn’t bother me materially.

Mobile Ordering is required at all the in-park QS, but resorts seem very flexible re mobile ordering or ordering in person.
