Is MNSSHP worth $90???

DH and I are going to be at Disney during MNSSHP this year and although we've heard a bit about it (parade/fireworks) we were just curious what else happens and if its worth paying the extra $90. What sorts of things happen? Are the rides still open? Is it mostly for people with kids?

For those of you that have been, can you let me know a bit about it? Thanks

it is a halloween themed night with parade.
you have got to go, it is fantastic!!! all the rides are open and there is also a halloween parade which is so good. you also see the characters dressed up in their halloween outfits and you go trick n treatin around the park.
we dressed up when we went, lots of people do, but its your choice some prefer not to!it is for all people with kids or not!
you will have so much fun

you also get a complimentary photo done of yourselves as well.

We went in october 03. There were 2 adults and one child.Had a great night. There were things out on display that we had not seen before i.e cinderellas glass coach. My daughter had loads of candy which we took home and shared with cousins back in england.We were so pleased with the evening that we are trying the mvmcp in dec 06.Don't forget to dress up, even the adults dress up and it doesn't have to be a scary outfit.

Booknut I would have to say that if you love all things Disney then MNSSHP is a must! We've done 3 & hoping for a 4th this year,you could almost look at it as being a 2nd day in the park.Although it is busier than the park during the day ,there are also a lot of families that leave after the first parade. Most if not all the rides are open,free photo, every character in halloween costume,a few characters that you don't see very often ie all of the 7 dwarfs!, sweets,story telling,shows,different fireworks,wicked witch instead of Tinkerbelle & last but not least the headless Horseman riding down Mainstreet!

We went on the 27th of last year and had a fab time at the park... IT WAS NOT BUSY, we literally walked onto all the rides ...some we didnt get off ...we just kept riding .We had gone to M.K the day before and it had been heaving we had hardly been on anything, so I wished we had saved our money and just done MNSSHP...as already said there are characters dressed up and some we hadnt seen before.. the rabbit and queen from Alice in wonderland...and loads of sweets which we were still eating two months down the line..is it worth it ..for us- YES!

Personally I would say not. Although we love all things Disney and have done MNSSHP twice, once actually on Halloweeen night itself. I found the night to be more centred around families with children. We did have a fab meal in LTT were all the characters were dressed up.

As two adults we also went to Universal's HHN, certainly not for children or the faint-hearted and we had an absolutely fantastic time.

If you can manage to do both then I would suggest that.

I am even thinking of going twice lol

We are booked for the 15th september party taking my two neices with us I really cant wait.
