Is MK busier on Spectro days?

I am assuming that when Spectromagic is showing infrequently that the MK is busier on that day, right? Is is significant, like an EMH day?

In my experiences, if Spectro is only being shown a few times in a week, the park will be busier that day when it's shown.

if you are going in say September when it is not every day --mostly weekend days-- yes it will be a lot more crowded.
:cool1:

I've experienced this in both May and early December. MK is much more crowded on Spectro days. One time in May we left the park around 1:00 because it was wall to wall people (I think it was a Tuesday or Wednesday).

Now I'm confused...where can I find a schedule of the days spectro will be running? I may need to move some things around as this is a must-see for us!

It's on Disney's website Calendar. When you view by calendar you can click on the days and it will show what parades are going on.

In May it's only shown on Tues, Fri, and Sat. This is our dilemma. It sounds like a nice thing to see but I don't know if we can fit it in. We definately want to see Wishes which does occur every night at least. If it supposedly is crowded on Tues, Fri, Sat that leaves Mon, Wed, Thurs for us to visit MK. Mon is our arrival day and we planned to go to MGM. Then Wed they have EMH morning AND evening. We actually planned to go in the evening. Thurs may be least crowded during this week since there isn't an EMH for MK, no spectro and EP's EMH day.

Oh, the choices :confused3 It almost seems like no matter what day I pick it will be "crowded"

Just an opinion, but I would really try to fit in Spectro Magic! My hubby, who does not really care for MK, says it was worth the money to get into the park just for that parade! He said he would pay $55+ to see it every day if he could. We love that parade. Any way to park hop over to see it? Just a thought.

Thanks. Technically we do have a 1-day hopper left on a previous ticket, but felt it would be better off saved for another time. We are going to Islands of Adventure for one day, but I've heard you can go through it by mid-afternoon. So if we get back in time we'll go see Spectro. It's on a day that MK has morning EMH, but I guess it doesn't really matter considering we plan to use 3 evening EMHs. I guess I like crowds

There's so much info on these boards! I thought Spectro was every day! I guess every time I've ever been to the MK it's been on. Thanks so much for the info.

This past Dec Spectro was Monday and Sat....that was early Dec we hopped to MK that Monday to see Spectro for the 1st time and it was mobbed especially main street and the Hub....the next day we spent the day at MK and it was great till the MVMCP started letting in....which by the way was packed that particular day Tues Dec 7th.....we were there all day and night.....do that every year and it has been nice and relaxing but not this past year....WOW....we might not do the party again because of the crowd...Sorry I changed the subject
