Heading the WDW 9/27 and was wondering if Philharmagic will open. Everything I read says "open in October" and I did find something stating the opening is October 8th.

We leave the world on 10/4 - Major bummer if we miss it by 4 days. I was hoping that maybe that would open early for "test" shows.

Anybody else know any different?

Thanks for the info!!!

I thought I read somewhere that it is open in preview at this time. I hope you get to see it, I hear it is wonderful.. :D

i was woundering the same thing i saw some preveiw review but i am not sure is it running regular or just premire shows we will be there sept 27th threw oct 5. :Pinkbounc

We just returned home from Disney yesterday. Each day we were at the Magic Kingdom there were employees at Mickey's Philharmonic & each time I would ask if it was open. Once they were doing a preview for cast members & another time it was for a special group of people with invitations. I believe the lady I spoke with told me the official opening is either October 8th or 10th.

It was not open while we were there (back Friday) though I have read some posts from people who have gotten lucky and got see a preview.

We got to see it Sunday. It was open Sat. and Sun. for annual passholders. It is definately worth seeing.

We saw it Saturday and Sunday as AP holders, but we were there Monday night (22nd) and they were having a soft open for the general public, so we got to see it for the 3rd time and took our non-AP holder kids with us. It's a nice addition to Fantasyland. I'm assuming that there are other soft openning occurring too.

The attraction opens on October 8th.
Previews are being done on a limited basis, not every day, not all day, and not on any kind of schedule.
It doesn't hurt to check at the concert hall while in Fantasyland. If they are running previews, there will be a sign inviting you to take part. If there is no sign, there are no previews.
