Is MGM Studio fun for 3 year old?

Animal kingdom is MY favorite park, and my kids love the lion king show and the boneyard. BUT- its really hard for a three year old to SPOT live animals. We'd spend half the safari ride going "do you see that hippo?" "No". "Do you see the alligator?" "NO". Followed by tears. MGM has playhouse disney, arial, muppets and beauty and the beast, pluse the playground. Not to sound anti-family, but I would choose the park YOU like the best,

My guys loved both, but if I had to cut one out it would probably AK, we go to the zoo all the time at home. They enjoyed AK, we spent most of the day in the boneyard. They loved MGM because they new all the characters. We saw Jo Jo, the Toy Story gang, Power Rangers, The Incredibles, etc. Then parade was great, but then again, the parade at AK is pretty awlsome too. I guess I'm no help. One thing that we experienced and I have read it elsewhere also, there was hardly anyone there when we first got to MGM, we rode and saw shows without any wait for the first couple hours.

My 3 yr old just loved MGM. ::yes:: There are many more characters available there and he especially loved eating at Pizza Planet. Playhouse Disney, Annimation building, Muppets 3D, Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, & Little Mermaid were all big hits. 3/4 of day can be spent here on just "young kid" type things.
The order of good parks for young children would be...
1. Magic Kingdom
2. MGM
3. Animal Kingdom
4. EPCOT
