Used Photopass+ on last trip (prepaid before we left home). thought we paid $129? loved it. very easy to use. did not use magic bands to id us when we walked up to photographer because magic bands were in test phase and glitchy for linking pixs to account. used "master" pass card that came ahead of time at home to avoid glitches and to identify ourselves as prepaid to photographer so we got some extra shots and magic shots as a bonus. got all of our pixs... no problems. customized hundreds of pixs when we got back home. included some dining & ride pixs too. assuming this program is no longer
available for purchase, correct?

Is Memory Maker same benefits & features? prepaid price has gone up to $150 it appears? any differences?

thank you

PP+ was always $149 in advance. PP (called Archive Disk now) is $119, could that have been what you pre-ordered before?

PP+ is no more and it became MM. The only difference between the 2 is PP+ was a disk and MM is digital download. And you do not get the printed version of photos at meals, you get them digitally. Otherwise, what is included on MM is the same as what was included on PP+.

Also, MM, or PP+, makes no difference in the photos that a PP photographer takes. They'll take all the photos you ask for, with or without pre-purchasing a thing. If you want magic shots, ask for them.

We had never used PP+ before so I cant comment about that comparison specifically. But we were just there last week and used MM for the first time and were amazed at the ease of it all. All of our ride photos were automatically added to the MM account after we rode (didn't need to ask for it to be done, it was automatic). There were 10 of us on a linked reservation and any of us could scan our band to have pics added. My sister checked the account daily to be sure our pics were showing up and they were. Now we just need to download them to print for our scrapbooks!

Funny story - DH is afraid of heights and didn't want to ride Tower of Terror with the rest of the family. But later that night after Fantasmic he decided to give it a try (as an aside - he hated it). But the funny thing was first thing in the morning my sister said to him "Didn't like ToT hm?" She hadnt been with us so I wasnt sure how she knew, but then she laughed and told us she had been looking at MM and our ride pic from ToT popped up and she could tell by the look on his face that he was not enjoying it.

Good info. Thanks.

For the automatically linked ride photos from MBs, can you verify it at the photo area for the ride that it made it to your MM account? I'd feel better if I could see it working (at least a couple of times).

I have done PP before and liked it have to say I'm not looking forward to having to download the photos myself I much prefer having the disk mailed to me and saving me the time of waiting to download 500 some odd photos.

You can order a disk for $39 (I think that's the price)

But as for the download it is a Zip file so they aren't done individually. I have done digital download in the past and it was very fast and easy. I just made my own CD once I downloaded them

You can't verify it, but they are usually happy to add photos to your account again. You could check via the MM site on your phone.

Do they show up right after you ride the ride? Can I get off the ride and go outside and check the MM site and they are there?

Just wondering how long it takes to show up.

Photos, like all PhotoPass photos, can take up to 24 hours to appear.

They do have to be approved before they go online.

glad to see this. I was a bit confused about this as well. we have always done the PP, and the last trip we did the PP+ and it was great-except you only had the one card and had to grab it to add pic if kids were on at a different time-so looking forward to the wrist bands and I know we will be the ones that order the cd-I like the hard copy!

Maybe someone can answer some questions for me.

If I purchase the MM and don't ride the ride can someone else that is linked to me get the ride photo?

Also, with PP+ once you retrieved the photos they expired 60 days later...is hat the case with MM if you check to make sure they are there fm your phone?

Not sure if this is making any sense. Thanks in advance
