Is Memorial weekend busy?

We went to WDW in June of 08 and had a great time. We went during the very first week before it got crazy hot and busy. DH wants to go again this year, however, the first week of June starts on Memorial weekend. This makes me slightly hesitant, because I am worried about it being busy(at least for the first 2 days we are there). However, I cannot push the dates back much, because I also want to take advantage of the gift card promo they are offering and you have to be there by June 3rd to get it.

Has anyone been to WDW over Memorial weekend? Is it crazy busy?

We are expecting it to be very busy. It's Star Wars Weekend.

We will be spending our last park day on Saturday before Memorial Day. I hope it's not too busy then either. But, the only other times that we've been was during Thanksgiving week, which is fairly crowded. We always manage the crowds very well; use Fastpass and get there at rope drop.

The only thing that really concerns me is the weather. We've never been when it's hot, so this will be our first trip that I'm actually planning a mid-day break. Let's just hope for the best- after all, any day at Disney is better than a day at work

I've never been Memorial weekend, but we're planning on going this year! According to the crowd calendars Saturday and Sunday's are supposed to be 6s and Monday is a 5... Not too bad in my opinion, since the past few times we've been have been 8s the whole trip!
