I have heard mixed reviews and this is my tie-breaker question. We are planning on going March 4 -12. I just read that this is in Peak Season (I think that is for Value Resort pricing?...I haven't planned a trip to WDW in 2 years and so much has changed, I'm still trying to figure it all out.). The first time I went to WDW was during Spring Break and it was miserable! We just stood in line all day. Since then I have only gone during slow months and haven't had to wait more than 20-30 minutes a few times and that was plenty for me! I would reconsider the trip altogether if it is going to be a madhouse.
What do you guys think?
TIA,
Annabelle

You'll get mixed answers about this one.. Ive been in March before.. It was my first trip to wdw so at the time had nothing to compare it to.. we went over spring break because I didnt want to take my kids out of school... Since then Ive been 2 more times.. once in July and once over Labor Day weekend.. If I had to rate them March comes in first, then Labor day and July would be the last.. We went over 4th of July.. So the 3 times Ive been have been at all busy times for the parks.. When we went in March we never waited more than 15 minutes for any of the ride lines except Testtrack and we had fp and still waited over an hour for that one.. We utilized FP and didnt have to wait for many rides actually.. we'd grab a fp for a ride and then go ride one or 2 rides that we had to wait in line for.. Yes it was a little busy, but not that bad.. The weather was perfect!! You'll get my two thumbs up on this!!

Yeah I agree you will hear lots of mixed reviews. I am going to use tour guide mike to make my times better.

I think that at the time you're going it won't be too bad. Our spring break is the following week and we've been 2 other times the same week and it really starts picking up. I think as the month goes on it continues to pick up, but more so when Easter is in March, which it's not this year. Park hours for your week are fairly short at MK, which to me says they aren't expecting too big of crowds. They're much later the next week and following.

We've been in March 2 times and didn't think it was that bad. (During our spring breaks) But we didn't think Christmas was that bad either. We were very surprised a couple days before Christmas when the cast member at Philharmagic told us the park was at capacity. (don't know which level though) It just did not seem that busy to us :confused3

Have been in March several times and it has only been horribly crowded right around Easter. I am always happy when our school system's spring break does not include Easter...this year it is (YAY) the last week of March. I know some college spring breaks tend to be in early March but I would guess first week of March would not be so bad.

First week of March is O.K. towards the end into April is Spring Break time. You'll be fine.

We'll be there March 2 - 12, our usual week. We went in mid Nov. once, a slow time, and the first week in Jan. '05, a dead time. Early March is really not that much more crowded. Get there early, use FP and you'll be fine. We hop to Epcot when crowds bulid up, usually around 1 pm, and finish our day there.

We went to WDW March of 2004 and the only park that got extremely crowded was the Magic Kingdom. The crowds weren't bad at the rest of the parks. The weather was wonderful and the water parks seemed vacant (no lines). It was great! ::MickeyMo

We'll be there the 6-11th! Hopefully everyone is right about the crowds. It's my parents first trip and I so want it to be wonderful!

I'll be there March 3rd through the 9th during my Spring Break. I'm very much looking forward to it. :)

we will be there March 18-25, I am really looking forward to it... I am happy because I found out that it is NOT the spring break of the locals so hopefully that means that it will be a leaser crowd but who cares we will be at DISNEY... YEAH!!!
