How crowded is it in March and April during
the typical "spring break" time? I am wanting
to come down for my birthday, but don't want
to be miserable in the crowds. Should I wait
until after Easter? Is that going to help with
the crowds?

Last year was the latest March (13-21) trip we have taken. Previous trips are usually the 1st 2 weeks of March. I would have to say crowds are average. Of course your more popular rides had longer waits, but we always did Fast Pass for those. We are going this March 5-14 and hopefully the weather will be as good as last year. I would NOT attempt to go at Easter time. I think you would be safe "crowd-wise" if you went in March since Easter is not until the end of April this year.

I agree March will be better than around Easter but colleges have spring breaks in march, as do some public school systems.

We are going to be April 3-5 at WDW parks at I am wondering just how crowded. Since Easter isn't until April 20th, I am assuming it won't be as crowded as Easter, but maybe moderate crowds other Spring breaks. Does that sound like a reasonable assumption? Or any personal experiences about the crowds a couple weeks prior to Easter?
Thanks!

We will be there March 29- April 5, and we have been to WDW several times during that corresponding week. It is busy but not terribly so. It was'nt even close to what it was around New Years. We were there Dec 29-Jan 4 and the crowds were unbelievable. The MK was at peak nearly every day. It was so crowded that I don't know how much fun it would be for a 1st timer or an infrequent visitor. With Easter being later in the month you should be ok.:D
