The original entrance to WDW was the World Drive interchange on 192, a mile west of I-4. Now, heading from I-4 west along 192, three lanes go to WDW and just two lanes continue west for 192.
Is that interchange still heavily used?
Nowadays, from Orlando and MCO airport it is a shorter trip to just about anywhere in WDW, including Magic Kingdom, using the Epcot and Osceola Parkway interchanges instead of 192, no?
Folks from Tampa and points south can get directly on World Drive south of 192 so they don't need to get on 192 at all.
Even from Kissimmee via 192, it is advantageous to cut over to Osceola Parkway a few miles before I-4 to avoid traffic lights.
