We have an ADR in early December for LTT, but now I'm wondering if I should change it. We've never eaten there, but it seems like a pretty place with a fun theme -- but the reviews I have read have been terrible!! That being said, most of the people who say they hate it haven't been in years. Has anyone been recently? Is it really terrible? I don't want to waste a TS credit on something we'll all regret!!

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Actually, LTT is quite popular around here. If you did a poll, the majority would say the LOVE it. Especially lunch. I hear its great.

I've done dinner twice there and although DH and I think its fine (its Thanksgiving type food and Stouffers Mac & cheese) my picky kids didn't enjoy it.

I love the salad dressing, bread and butter and the beef and pork were good. My girls didn't like the stouffers mac & cheese, the turkey or ham, the veggies (too peppery) or the stuffing or even the dessert.

Good luck deciding!

:tink: We've eaten dinner several times and never had a bad experience. The food is heavy but if you like what's on the menu you should be fine. The restaurant is sponsored by Stouffers, so the dressing and some of the other items are that brand food. They have wonderful marinated flank steak. I suggest trying it and form your own opinion. Have fun!

We ate there about two weeks ago for dinner. I wasn't wild about it but it's not terrible. It wasn't disgusting by any means. Just well, blah, boring etc. I guess for me if I'm going to eat Thanksgiving type foods, I want them to taste as good as my mother's. And those sure weren't.

I guess for me, it wasn't horrible, I just was wishing I was eating some real good food for my money.

We ate there last Tuesday and we enjoyed it, as usual. The food is by no means gourmet, but it is tasty. DH and I will be dining there again in December before MVMCP.

DH and I also will be dining here before MVMCP in early Dec. We tried LTT last Fall for the first time and we really enjoyed it.

Our family LOVES LTT!!!!!!! It is our favorite restaurant in MK!!!!!! We always dine there, every trip! The pot roast at lunch is sooooooo yummy!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't find any of the theme park restaurants, except in WS, to be fabulous. As far as LTT, I have only been there for lunch, it was fine. Nice character interaction and the food wasn't gross. I did not ADR it this time, but not to say I wouldn't eat there again. It was on par with your other options in the parks.

Our family always enjoys LTT. We like the food and have never found anything yucky about it!

Thank you for all your replies! I think I'll keep our ADR to eat there. We're all very meat-and-potatoes folks (we would starve to death at someplace like Chefs de France) so I think we'll like the food pretty well unless it just has no flavor.

It's just hard being the trip planner, and worrying about everyone hating some decision you've made, you know?

Thanks again!

It's one of the best restaurants in my opinion. It's hard to get an ADR from there sometimes. We love it. Very filling and good! Their holiday dinners are awesome! We ate every last bite last time we were there-and talked about it the rest of the trip!

That Bad?!? We love it. Dinner has the hands down best characture interaction in all of WDW!

We had a great time at LTT, and highly recommend it. :thumbsup2

Another recomendation here from me. My family went for the first time in June and we all loved it. The food was good to all of us. We definately would be back. It is a definate meat and potatoes type of meal, so you do feel a little heavy afterwards, but it hits the spot. Also, the character interaction was wonderful. Each character came around 3 times during our 1 - 1.5 hours there.

I thought lunch was pretty good. I've never been really interested in dinner, so I haven't been for that.

Lunch is not a character meal.

This is my DBF fav place. He's into very plain food and turkey with mashed potatoes and stuffing is great for him.
I think the beef was great and I liked the taters too.
But the best part is the character interaction. I think they are awesome here...
If you're strictly looking for awesome food, this is the wrong place. If you're looking for great characters then you'll be happy.

Liberty Tree is deffinitely one of the better character meals! There is lots of character interaction and the food is decent plus it's in my favorite park ever! It's deffinitely some place everyone should try! With the DDP I've learned that trying new restaurants is almost always worth it! :thumbsup2

From what I recall, our dinner at LTT was a basic, simple meat and potatoes, American kind of meal. We like to be a bit more adventurous when we travel, so we didn't go there last time, but I don't remember it being bad. If the menu appeals to you, I would suggest trying it.
