I'm only able to get an 11:35 Lunch reservation. I booked it and decided my family and I could just do a TS lunch and a CS dinner. My only thing is, should I push and keep checking for a dinner time to open up? I want to make sure I can still experience the best Le Cellier has to offer (Bread, Cheddar Cheese Soup, Filet, etc.). Oh yea, I am on the DDP so price doesn't matter.

Thanks

We went for lunch last year and really enjoyed it. I had the NY strip, DD had the filet and DD had the kid's steak.

All three of the items you mentioned are available for lunch. So I'm thinking y'all can have a great time.

We went for lunch and enjoyed it.:thumbsup2

I never once felt shorted by having lunch rather than dinner there.

We went for lunch there last Oct. and enjoyed everything on your list for lunch! I didn't find any portions smaller. You will certainly roll out of there full!

We've eaten lunch and dinner at LeCellier. We actually preferred the lunch - don't know why, just did.

I think it's sensible to book lunch ADR's...it's cheaper, usually easier to book, and you have the rest of the day to "work off" the calories :)

When you book an ADR Table Service for lunch, I feel more flexibility touring the parks. You can either sleep in, relax at your resort and get to your ADR in time for lunch, then continue to tour the park. OR you can get to the park at rope drop,, tour, go for lunch, then leave for an afternoon break. This way you are not on a schedule and can return to that park at your leisure!! No rushing for a 5:00 ADR!! My favorite way to tour, especially with little ones, you never know till you get there weather they will be tired, not tired etc!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!:banana::banana:

Is Le Cellier worth it for lunch? Absolutely!! :yay:

We ate Le Cellier for lunch last Nov. on the DDP, and it was great! I don't think the menu is much different for lunch than dinner, and we were all definitely full. And it was delicious!

And, bonus, since the prices were a little lower for lunch than dinner, your bill total is less, so you don't feel obligated to leave as big a tip!

Enjoy! :thumbsup2

Have the lunch, and have a few Canadian Beers... will really make your afternoon interesting.

I recomend the Molson's.

I AM C*A*N*A*D*I*A*N !!

We had the fillet. DH had the cheese soup & I had the mussels. All was enjoyed. I have a question for those who have tried both the strip and the fillet- which is better? What's the difference? I've had the mushroom fillet twice, and its delicious, even though I don't like mushrooms. Will order the strip next time if its more flavorful and tender.

We are going for lunch in June. Are the lunch filets the same size as the ones for dinner and is the kid's steak a filet?

We just had lunch there two weeks ago.

Great experience, I'm fairly certain it is the same menu as in the evening.

Loved the filet, DH had striplion and said it was equally good. Kids had steaks. I had the soup, couldn't resist, yum! We had chocolate Raspberry smoothies and milkshakes for our drinks, DH was happy to have a beer from home. Definitely a family favorite of the trip.

Our ADR was for the same time and that was perfect. The restaurant was just opening so it was still a bit quiet and calm before the rush of lunch. We were at rope drop and did Soarin, TT, MS all twice before heading over for lunch.

Lunch is definetly worth it.:thumbsup2 We had lunch there on our last trip and ate our big meal of the day there/dinner sized meal. It was nice to get out of the sun for a while and the food was just about the same as dinner offerings. We wound up eating a later CS dinner at the resort food court that night, and had a pastry/bagel for breakfast.

Yes, it's worth it!! I ate lunch there, around 11:00. It was the best food I've ever had in my entire life.

We went for both lunch and dinner and had the same meal both times. :) It was fantastic! I actually liked having my big meal earlier in the day. I felt like riding more at night after the crowds thinned out. Heavy meals at night just make me tired.

We did lunch (11:40) there back in February, cheese soup, mushroom filet, chocolate mousse, and I was STUFFED. All of us were. We didn't eat anything else until much later that night, I think we got french fries when we hit the MK later.

We're going back in July and we got a 12:20 lunch ADR. Can't wait and I'm craving that cheese soup!
