We would like to go for lunch, haven't made any ps as of yet. I didn't know how packed it is during the day. Thanks! We're going in 2.5 weeks. :goodvibes

You should have no problem getting in. My DH and I always have waited until we got to WDW to make PS (procrastinators) and as long as we're flexible with our times we've been able to still get lunch ressies. The only time we had a problem getting into Le Cellier was with the dinner package.

Le Cellier is quickly becoming very popular and I've noted some times at dinner when people without a PS have been turned away. I'd recommend making a PS, even for lunch. It's a great restaurant with wonderful food. Love the soups and the bread, but don't fill up on them!

We made PS the morning of for lunch and were seated as soon as we walked in the door. I know many here rave about the cheese soup and pretzels but we found them good but not that good. We were somewhat disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. Its a nice restaurant to try but we will be passing on it to try a different one on this trip...smjj

We were there for a late lunch (3 p.m.) last Nov. We waited about 15-20 min. for our P.S.'s and hordes of people were turned away. They explained they were booked for the rest of the day!! I'm sure it had to do with the fact that it was the last day of the Food and Wine Festival-BUSY!!

I'd make a P.S., but that's me.

Not sure when you are going bust just checked yesterday for may 7th, we have a 7:30 but tried to move it earlier or to lunch so we could be sure to make illuminations.... they said they were compeltely booked for lunch and dinner that day.

I know when I called to make a PS they didn't have dinner availability. Then again they told me CRT was booked for the whole week but now more times are available. So who knows.

How many are in your party? We are a family of 5 and I called the afternoon of the 90th day out and the time I wanted was already booked. I took an earlier time, but I swear they must only have one or two tables that fit a party of 5.

When we were there President's Week they were turning away everyone who did not have a PS. So if you are going at a busy time you should make a PS to be on the safe side.

I made a PS for our lunch we'll be having in a couple weeks last week. I've seen some people allowed to wait for a table and others told they were all booked up depending on how busy things are. If I were you, I'd make a PS if for nothing else than peace of mind.

We had no problems getting in for lunch, but had to get a PS for dinner.

It's always fun to read everyone's varying experiences!

We absolutely fell in love with LeCellier a few years ago - and now it is a must for us. I prefer dinner only because I love their salmon dish that is served in the evenings. Doesn't mean I'd pass up lunch - they have delicious food no matter what!

We have never been turned away from LeCellier even without a ps. We have gone at some heavy times: Christmas, Easter, summer. I guess we've been lucky!

I have come to the conclusion though - if there is somewhere I might want to try, I make a ps. If we change our minds - I call and cancel it. It helps with stress levels - you have it if you want it, you cancel if you decide differently.

Thanks to the DIS I have become a full time planner. Combine this with a Christmas trip several years ago when we couldn't get into any sit down restaurant we tried for the whole week and I make sure I have a PS in place for every restaurant that I know I don't want to miss.
