Is Kouzzina's Breakfast Good?

Has anyone tried breakfast at Kouzzina and did you think it was good? How does it compare to other TS breakfast options like Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe? TIA!

I ate breakfast there during my Sept 26th-Oct 4th trip and was pleasantly surprised. I was on the DxDDP and got a berry smoothie and the stacked breakfast. It was delicious. The sweet potato hash was full of red bell peppers and onions and had an artichoke spread on it. I asked for the bacon extra crispy and was shocked to find it done perfectly. It was still very thin (like all WDW bacon), but was somehow cooked perfectly crisp, while not burned. That was the only time I've ever gotten good bacon at WDW. The kalamata olive bread was very tasty. I didn't care for the poached eggs, but that's my fault as I don't care for eggs anyway and should have just left them off. Service was very good also.

I think Kona still has a better breakfast though.

Prior to the menus being posted I had made ADRs for Kouzzina's for both breakfast and dinner during my trip, but when the menus and reviews started coming out, I canceled my dinner ADR. Judging from the breakfast that I had there, I really wished I'd kept my dinner ADR.

Our party of 4 adults ate there a few weeks ago. None of us were impressed. The food was very bland. Although it all sounds good on the menu it doesn't taste good when you get it. We each tried something different and were all disappointed.

Service was very slow, food sat under the lights for some time before it was delivered to table. They seem to be really understaffed.

The other couple had dinner reservations there for an upcoming trip and after breakfast, cancelled them because she said too many things need to improve before she would return there again.

We were all surprised that since Cat had just been in town for her grand opening that the overall experience could be this bad. Hope that's not what she was going for.
