Is Knott's Spooky Farm worth it?

I'll be attending my first Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland this year with my dad and DS, age 6. Our ideal date is Halloween, and I have 13 backup dates. The plan is to do Oogie Boogie Bash, then one day at DL only. If I get the backup date that will allow us to stay at Disney 4 nights, then I'm thinking of taking DS to Knott's Berry Farm for Knott's Spooky Farm. Is it worth it, or is it like your typical generic Halloween party/celebration that you see at Sporting Goods stores, or other places?

Wow, you're good. I know about Knott's Scary Farm, but I'm talking about Knott's SPOOKY Farm, which is the one appropriate for small children and takes place during the day.😂

Has the kid been to Knott's before? If not, then I think the trip would be worth it, since it's a very fun place. You'd get full run of the park with your event ticket, right?

He's never been there. I read on the website that it's not a special ticket event. Anyone can go. I believe Scary Farm you have to buy a special event ticket.

We used to have passes there. It’s not a special ticket, but the park does close early for Knott’s Scary Farm on most nights. They have trick-or-treating and excellent decorations in the Ghost Town and Camp Snoopy parts of the park. The lines for rides are very long and make it not fun if you wait in too many of them. If you’re there to enjoy the decorations and eat some food, you will be fine. Their fast pass system is very expensive (over $100 per person) and it’s not worth it.
