what date is memorial day?

im going in june next year. ive always went in july so im sure i'll manage it.

however things keep coming up that im going to miss. Bon jovis tour being the latest!!

Never been in June but I presume it won't be as bad as july and august although I seem to have read that it is geting busier.Have a lok at some of the trip reports.I am sure someone will answer your querey. We never thought we would go in July due to both the Us kids and ours being off but it is all down to planning and as long as you hit those parks earlier rather than later it isn't too bad.Must say the weather was far too humid for us though although I think it was a freak summer this year as didn't have much rain.Whatever time you go is woth it and if I had the choice of going at the busiest time or not at all I would still go.Have a fab time:cool1:

We are there for the 1st two weeks in june. I think the first weekend of june is gay and lesbian weekend and I hear it gets a bit busy then. Apart from that I think its not too bad early June but the last two weeks the crowds start to build up.

We've been for the last few years at this time, it's usually busy but then again we've not got a lot to compare it to as the 1st time we visited we went in April before my DD's we're at school and Epcot was empty!!.
It's very humid and hot, mixed with daily downpours ;), this year we had a terrible storm which was the worst I've ever been in  , but thankfully I wasn't driving :rolleyes1 .
We love this time of year, all I would say is get to the parks for opening time and enjoy :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I don't think June is that bad, the middle of the month is probably the best time to go and although it's hot wouldn't be as bad as July and August.

We have been over the first 2 weeks in june & wouldn't go back at this time, just our experience.OK so the parks are open later but when MK closes at Midnight & the queue for Space is still 90 mins at 23:45 just not worth it.We were also there over the "Unofficial" Gay & lesbian weekend ( Disney doesn't acknowledge it!) & it is very ,very busy.Since then we have always stuck with Sept.
SD:thumbsup2

I went the last 2 weeks in June this year (14th-28th). There is some photos on my trip report (day 2 and onwards) that gives a good idea of the weather at that time of the year.

Basically, scorching but comfortable. Queues were medium to large at the busiest times :)

We were there the 1st two weeks in June and apart from the awful storm one late afternoon it was lovely, not too crowded apart from 'Gay Day' which was extremely busy.

We were there the first 2 weeks in June this year and had a brilliant time.

We didn't think the crowds were bad at all. We used Tour Guide Mike and followed all the 'quiet day' ploys and along with getting in when the parks opened it was no problem. If we did come across a very long line we just skipped that ride.

As for the weather we thought that was great too. Yes, there was one bad storm one afternoon but we still went to MK in the evening and everything was open with most rides being walk on cos loads of people had left once the rain started.

The only bugbear for us was the first 5/6 days we were there were all those flippin' love bugs!

June can be very humid and sometimes busy due to some US schools breaking up earlier than european schools do. That said it can be a very good cultural experience meeting folks from lots of different places who all love the Disney parks and the fun can be enjoyed by everyone. Just remember to drink plenty of water and take rest stops occasionally and you will be fine:thumbsup2
