I've found a pretty good fare to Ft. Lauderdale on Jet Blue for a cruise I'm planning on taking next February. Does anyone know if they are an OK airline? Another concern of mine is their financial stability. I don't want to book a flight if there are rumors of them t going bankrupt. Has anyone heard anything about the future of this airline?

As always, thanks for your help!

I haven't heard anything bad about them, nor have I heard anything negative referring to their financial status. I jst got my newqest issue of flyer talk and my airline employee paper but nothing in there about them. nothing in my airline biz either.

I love Jet Blue. I've flown them before and have not had a bad experience.

We leave on Nov. 22 and we're flying Jet Blue.

They are doing fine, in comparision to others. ALWAYS purchase your airline tix with a credit card!!!!! In case they do go under, this is your only recourse.

Anything can change in3 months, goodness knows what changed in 1 day- but Jet Blue seems to be doing well!

I've heard fabulous things about Jet Blue. Their planes are brand new with T.V.s in every seat. Also, the seats are very comfortable leather. No meals, though.

Enjoy.

According to an article in today's New York Times, Jet Blue and Southwest are the two most financially stable airlines in the US at the present time. It was buried in a story about how the airlines are working to maintain their dominance in their hubs during this time of cancelled flights and layoffs. It was a very interesting article.

DH and I have taken Jetblue quite a few times and have always been very satisfied. Just saw a thing on TV the other day that said that jet blue is doing very well. As stated before, the planes are new, the service is good, although you wont get more than a bag of pretzels or chips, and they have free tv in every seat. I only wish they flew out of Newark, NJ. We often book jetblue knowing that we will have a longer trip to JFK, than to Newark, but the price of the airfare more than makes up for it. I would say book your flight on jetblue and don't worry.
