Hi all! My friend and I have been planning a trip for October to WDW. I just finished working out the time off of work (which was a bit of a trick) and from college when my friend called and told me she may have a family reunion that week in Holland (as in Europe). I definetly can see why she would want to go to that insetead of WDW but would it be wrong of me to go without here to WDW? We have not booked anything yet but were going to in a week or so and with school I don't have much avaliable time to go other than summer which is a little late to book now or October. What do you all think?
Thanks!

I don't see you coming to WDW during your only available time off wrong at all.
And I don't see why your friend would not agree. It is she who can't go. So why begrudge you a vacation?

Well I should also note that we have gone together every year since 1999.

I don't see a problem with it at all. Go and have a good time--there will be many more years you can go together! And, since YOU'RE not going to Europe, why not go to WDW?? Just do a little bow and moment of silence in front of the Dutch area in IASW, hoping that your friend is having as much fun as you are!!!!

You could spread the magic by introducing another friend to WDW. They would get the benefit of going with a seasoned vacationer and you could see WDW through the eyes of someone who has not been there yet. :flower:
