shortbun said:i can't imagine worrying about things like that. A strange car might make me wonder in my neighborhood but not make me mad. Once a neighbor called the cops on us because we were parked in front of our own house and they didn't recognize our new truck. The parking violations people chalked our tire and gave us a warning. We have no driveway. The neighbor was embarassed and I was a bit po'd about that one. imho, THAT neighbor overstepped my boundaries.
It seems to me like your neighbor was just watching out for the neighborhood. An unfamiliar truck parked in front of your house could have meant burglars.
A neighbor did this in our old neighborhood. The cable guy was in our yard and she called DH at work to ask if we were having work done. We were not, so she called the police. He claimed he had the wrong house or something - but we were very grateful.
These were the same neighbors who always parked their car in front of our house because we were the only ones without a tree. We did not mind at all.

And I bet you agree with me that the thing in Ash's sig is a beaver, too!

If his spot infront of his home is open, he should be parking there. I really don't mind taking a few steps more by parking a couple houses down.
