Is it wrong to book Frozen and Mine Train Fastpasses everyday?

Even if you are sure you won't use them all (Probably will only do one Frozen meet).

Wondering if this is against Dis code.

Yes, I think so. You're taking up spots another family could use.

To me, it's akin to making an ADR for a popular restaurant every day (back when Disney didn't require a credit card to hold it) when you have no intent to use it every day.

But then again, I'm a "goodie two-shoes."

[As a long time visitor to these boards, I feel I should state the following: Please note the term "goodie two-shoes" is not meant as a slight to those with less than two feet. Please do not send me emails.]

I'm not sure there is a 'wrong' or 'right' about this. But if you're sure that you won't use them, why would you book them?

It may be inconsiderate to other people who just want to book it for one day and can't because you just took the last spot. I think it would be a bad idea to use up your fps on things you don't plan to go to. I also think its a bad idea to only go to one park on your vacation. If you just don't know what day(s) you'll be at Mk then just decide on a definite couple of days and just do the fast passes you mentioned for those days only and do the rest of your fast passes for the other parks.

I think you're hurting yourself more than others in trying up your FP+ slots with the same 2 attractions but as long as you cancel as soon as you know you're not going to use them I really don't see a problem. Someone will snatch them up as soon as you release them.

The way I see it is that while you are booking FPs that you may not use, you are missing out on FPs that you may want later when you decide to do a different park. I would just make sure that you cancel the ones you don't want as soon as you firm up your plans. If everyone did this it might have an effect on the system, but you are but a small drop in the huge bucket.... just know that you are tying up your FPs and may not get your first choices later on. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it or let anyone make you feel guilty though! :)

It's not against the booking rules. Therefore, it's fine.

I would say it would be a tad selfish to let them expire unused. Even so, not against the rules.

My guess is that at some point you'll drop some of them for the fast passes you really want on some of those days and that will release them for someone else.

If you were planning to use them everyday, then fine...however, if you don't think you will use them, then don't book them.

Since it's not against the rules I wouldn't say that its wrong, but I am having a hard time understanding why you would do this??

Do you not have interest in any of the many other attractions that require FP+ to avoid long waits??

This made me laugh out loud.

I don't think it's wrong, per say but like others have pointed out why would you waste your FP+ in MK (a non-tiered park) like that? If you aren't going to do it every day then don't book them. But if you change them instead of letting them expire... well then, I'd say that you are going to make someone's day when they get them last minute.

Of course, you might also ruin someone's day when they try to book it in advance and there aren't any left ;) So, ultimately, it's up to you because it's not breaking any rules.

Against the rules at WDW? No.

Ethically wrong? I'd say yes especially if you don't cancel them. People are waiting hours upon hours for this meet & greet, and taking a spot that you are likely not to use is not exactly fair, if you ask me.

Like said above, it's akin to booking ADRs at various restaurants and then not use them. These spots could be used by others during their vacations. Think of it this way: Is it fair for someone to book all of the concert tickets to your favorite band's next show within minutes of them going on sale?

Just my two cents.

We're doing two MK days on our upcoming trip, and I was planning on *trying* to book 7DMT for both days ... but we would want to use them both.

Is it that you don't know which days you're going to the parks? I can't figure out why you'd book things you're not going to use in MK. There are so many choices.

I can understand it in Epcot, because there are so few quality choices in Tier 2 ....

Have no fear.... I'm not keeping all the Anna & Elsa meets. My main reason for booking is the extreme air conditioning that it will have for the July/August visit. :rotfl:

We will drop all but one Frozen once we confirm the dinner portion of our schedule (Who has the California Grill reservation I am looking for). I would not book it and then not use it. It's more about we haven't chose the park yet because planning 2 trips at once was a hassle to keep organized in my head(we just got home from the last trip last night).

I just was wondering on the "Awful human being" scale I was for holding up these FP, since I was not sure yet, for the 7 days we planned. Just hoping not as bad as those who bought the Frozen Dresses and slapped them on ebay.

To be honest, we will be in the parks EARLY at the other 3 and take off in the middle of the day and use FP+ at night in MK. Basically, from 10:30am-6pm I plan on being in a pool, room or dining during July/Aug trip.

I think if you're going to use them, you remain at the "you're good" side of the scale...if you want to spend your vacation visiting with Anna and Elsa and riding Mine Train, go for it!!

We just got back - and were MAGICALLY able to book Anna and Elsa for two days of our trip. So glad we did - DD was in awe/shock the first time, and by the second visit was able to more fully participate. Definitely an excellent use of our FP+ allotment.

Haven't read the other responses but I'd say that as long as you intend to use them every day that's fine. If you're just doing so in case you might want to go every day, then I'd call it selfish.
