I am sure that there are others that are sitting in the same position as I am. We are at a cross roads at making our decision. Taking into consideration that it is possible we will NOT get discounts we deciding on (for our family of 6) two rooms at the CBR or spending about an extra $250 a night for a 2 BR BCV. My only other time staying in Disney was when we were only a family of 5, many years ago and we stayed at the BC and I LOVED IT. I hear many good things about every resort in Disney. Will I miss the perks of a Deluxe or will I never notice?

How many nights are you talking about? The added convenience of the kitchen, washer/dryer and common living area really do make for a more relaxing vacation. Going home with suitcases full of *clean* clothes is great. I recently stayed at the Beach Club Villas in a 1 bedroom, and it was wonderful. Great location for walking or boatriding to MGM and EPCOT. You might check the DVC Rent/Trade board here on the DIS and see about renting points from a member. For Sunday through Thursday night stays (5 nights), it's usually far cheaper than Disney rates (and no tax). Weekend stays costs more points, so they are not as good a deal. Hope this helps.
