Is it worth the $$ to upgrade at WL?

We're getting ready to book our July '04 WDW vacation at the WL. This time my DD is bringing a friend (total of 4 people) so we've thought about upgrading to a Junior Suite (now I believe called a Deluxe). Do you think it's worth the extra $$? Are these the only rooms which have a separate bedroom?

Yes. The Jr. Suites / Deluxe rooms are the only rooms with a seperate bedromm aside from the two big, expensive suites. I loved staying in the Jr. Suite. It is not really huge but the layout is nice and there are a lot of widows which I like. It has two balconies ( one standing room only). You can enter the vanity area from the entrance hall or the bedroom. There are to TV's, a wet bar with small fridge. Only you can determine if it is worth it for you to upgrade. I think it is!!!

Great - thanks for the info. Since my daughter is bringing a friend this time, it will probably be worth having a closed off room. At least my husband can dress in private !

Here is the layout. The double doors between the Bedroom and Living room are glass doors with sheer curtains. Tell your husband to dress in the corner!

I'm staying there over the 4th and I was told that availibility was "very tight". Were you able to get a reservation?

It appears that the Jr. Suites are around $370 in July and August.

I actually haven't booked the reservation yet. Sounds like I better hop to it! We'll be there July 11th-16th, 2004. I was quoted a rate of $360/night for the deluxe.
