Hi, we are hopefully going to be traveling with Virgin for our upcoming holiday, and we are thinking of booking premium economy is it worth the extra money?

I haven't done premium economy with Virgin, but it all depends on what you can tolerate. I do usually book premium economy on longer trips because I'd be in pain without that extra bit of legroom. If you don't need legroom, I wouldn't consider it worth it.

Yes.

Bigger comfier seats, nicer food, bigger tv, more booze (lol) and a lot quieter and less crowded. The seat reclines a little further too I think. Plus you're the first off the plane and through immigration which is invaluable, and you get your bags quicker too. I've been floor to hotel in an hour before, including picking up a hire car!

It's only worth it if you can afford it though - I wouldn't pay for the upgrade unless you could comfortably do so.

Its just myself and my adult DD, we are both tall and extra leg room would be nice. This will be our 5th time to Disney but first time just us girls:yay:. Guess we could pay to have front seat with extra leg room, but I like the idea of getting off first and the nicer food.

You can get exit row seats, but those seats are narrower to accomodate the TV, makes it less comfortable IMO.

Premium is nice, very comfortable :)

For you and adult DD I'd say go for it then! It makes the flight part of the holiday for me :)

I made the mistake of flying Premium Economy, was really lovely.

But that's the problem now we've had the taste we will only fly Premium Economy so have to save up more and wait slightly Longer between trips

Personally we don't think it's worth it.
We save the money and spend £30 each booking a seat in the economy "bubble" upstairs
- it's directly behind PE, we quite often get to choose from the food they have left from the PE menu, it's quieter than regular Economy because it's smaller and you get off the same time as those PE customers.

I guess it comes down to legroom, I can't stretch my legs out properly in Eco and I am only 6ft.
