I've read a few threads saying there is nothing at US or IOA for very small children.
My son will be 14 months when we go, and I really wanted to go to US, but its going to be no good, if we're just doing a baby swap all day, and not including him in anything.
I'm not too fussed about IOA on this trip, because I know that it is mostly thrill rides.

I brought my daughter years ago when she was a year old. There wasnt much then for her to do, but your son will probably love the Barney show and the Curious George area. Not much in IOA for a baby though.

skip IOA till you're child is at least 44" so they can go on the majority of the rides. otherwise you'll be child swapping all day. as for the studio, there's TONS your 14month old can do. as long as he's able to walk independently, he can go on twister, T2, earthquake, hanna-barbera(in the stationary seats, if it's still open), hitchcock (also if still open), the wild wild wild west stunt show, jaws, ET, animal planet, nickelodeon studios, and most of the area in kidzone. you'd have to child swap on MIB and BTTF.

Thankyou both :D
I'm going to try to get a list of the height restrictions, and take a good look at whats there, then I'll see if i can cram it into my already packed itinery :p

Actually - I've taken both my boys to IOA and USF when they were 18 months old. In IOA, we did Seuss-both used their limited vocabularies to say "again" to Cat in the Hat. For each boy (now 4 and 2), we went on 5 or 6 times. Before you get to Seuss Landing there's a motorcycle with sidecar where we always spend at least 10 minutes. If I Ran the Zoo is fun for new walkers - bring pool shoes and dry clothes. Then there's the merrygoround of Seuss characters and One Fish, Two Fish.

In Jurassic Park Discovery Center, my little one liked to touch the dinosaurs. He could roam a bit in the play area-much supervision required, though.

We stood in the viewing areas for all of the coasters, through osmosis both now understand my addiction! My now 4 year old did the Woody Woodpecker coaster 20 times in a row in July!

At USF, there's a little play area to the right when you enter Curious George -plus there's the Barney show, with a little play area where you exit (or through the shop).

Other hints to make it fun for little ones-let them throw coins in every body of water you see. Smash pennies in the machines. Eat Churros, ICEEs and Ice Cream cones. I used a backpack carrier some of the time. We were there for Mardi Gras Feb 2002, and the parade was a hit with my little boy.

The best thing I did was to do club level at HRH. Since I usually go by myself with two little guys, it's great to just go down the hall for breakfast and "snack-dinner", not to mention the milk and cookies. AND the sand beach at the pool!!!
