I have witnessed managers of restaurants doing shady practices to pass off not so edible foods. For example, on our last trip to Florida, we stopped at a Denny's and had breakfast. We were seated close to the counter near the kitchen. The manager was doing the finishing touches to our meal...the toast. I saw the toast come out of the toaster. It was black burnt. He proceded to place the burnt sides down and then brought the plates to us. I quickly flipped the toast over and told him I watched him HIDE the burnt sides by placing them the way he did. Told him it was unacceptable and I would be getting new UNBURNT toast immediately. All he could do was

I would expect this from a regular employee in the kitchen, but the manager?
