Is it worth it?

I have a six day hopper ticket to the four main parks. My dd7 loves water, I was thinking of taking on of the six days off and buying 2 single days at one of the water parks? Not sure if I should, dd has no idea that disney has water parks and she has never been to any kind of water parks.

I wouldn't take 2 days at one water park. I would do one day at one of the water parks, then one day at the other. Personally, I wouldn't even do 2 days at water parks. We usually get our fill with one half day at a water park. You could do both water parks in one day if you had to.

Also, what time of year are you going? If it's this time of year, the weather may not be all that great for water parks. I only go to a water park if it's going to cool me off.

I wouldn't get rid of the park hopper. We went to Blizzard Beach the first time we went and stayed about 5 hours until one of those infamous Florida afternoon thunderstorms came through. We went back to our room at CSR, got changed and went to one of the other parks. Also, what if it rains all day? Then you aren't going to enjoy the waterpark (if it is even open) and you don't have the option of going to one of the other parks.

Depending on where you are staying, your resort could have a very nice pool, too. With a 7 year old, they are too little to go on the some of the big slides at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach.

I think I will just stick with my 6 day hoppers at the four main parks, we have only been to disney once before and did not see as much as I would like. This time I want to see as much as possible, because we may not be able to go back to disney for 5 years.

When are you going? We are going in May and are taking advantage of the free water park option MYW package.

That time of the year, the parks will be crowded, and the water parks will be very crowded. For me, it would not be worth the money to take a 7 year old to a water park, I waited until my kids were older.

I agree with this statement. One day at one park would be fun and cost effective.

I would do it, we love the water parks, and my daughters absolutely adore them, I think at times they would rather go to a water park than a park. As you already have your tickets, you could do a water park until mid afternoon, go back to your room get cleaned up, and then do a park in the evening. In your case it certainly would make sense to just buy 2, 1 day water park tickets.
