My GS was about the same age when we first took him. The smile on his face from dawn to dusk was worth it.
The nursery is small, but very nice. It is done by reservations only. It is a minimum 2 hours at $6 per hour. There are not a lot of kids in there at the same time because the younger ones have one on one care, a little older is oone on 2 or 3 , but that is it. They will not take more than they can safely watch. They are very strict about this. Which is good, that means they can really watch your child better. On the first day they have a time, listed on your navigator that tells you when you can stop by and look at the nursery and talk with the staff and ask any questions you may have. They will give you a beeper, so they can reach you no matter where you are.
In the Mickey pool, one of the ears is reserved for toddlers in swim diapers. They must wear swim dipaers by law. It has small water jets that shoot out from the edges of the ear to the center, it only gets 2 or 3 inches deep. Lots of moms and dads sit on the edge of the ear to keep a close eye on their child. All the pools are out in the sun, so bring plenty of sunblock and swim diapers. They do sell them on board, however they are very expensive and they do run out of stuff sometimes too.
Hope this helps you some. We loved it with the little one and are going again in December. I would definately go with a 22 month old again.
