Is it worth it do just do Halloween Night

I am going to to Disney and staying at Disney resort. Is it worth it to just do a Haunted Halloween night?? We hadn't planned to go there at all but this sounded fun!
Are all the rides open? I am going with my 16 year old Nephew.
Which Park does this happen in?
Sorry I am a newbie. Never been to Universal at all.
We will be there this weekend.

Halloween Horror Nights is staged at the Studios and begins at 6:30pm. Unless you're going to be in the park prior to closing, try to get in line out front around 5pm so you won't have to wait in the general public line all night. There are five attractions open during HHN: Despicable Me, Rockit, The Simpsons, Revenge of the Mummy and MIB.
