Is it worth it? Any hope

I have read many wait list questions and found most of my answers (thanks) but wanted to ask these 2 all about ME ME ME

What is the latest you have received your wait list request? Our trip is in 31 days for 3 days and my thought was if I don't hear by the 30 day mark I will probably will not get it???

We can get the room for Friday and Saturday but not for Thursday? Is it worth moving? It seems like such a short trip to move from SSR to BWV, we have never moved rooms and I am not really sure it will be worth the hassle.

I feel your frustration. I am on a waiting list for July and am loosing faith in it too. I know anything is possible but really . It seems rare for wait list to occur. I am almost to the point of giving up on my wait list and thinking of changing resorts just to stay at one resort. Sometimes I thought about it and thought it was a way to keep people in mass chaos.

The only real answer is, buy where you want to stay.

I have had some luck with waitlists that were about 5-6 months out.
My experience within the last 30 days of a waitlist isn't good. I even called every other day to see if something may have opened up. Nothing ever did.

I called a few times and at 30 days out changed to the seven day list. But it still didn't come through.

We love BLT (our home) and have wanted to try somewhere new. I guess we should be happy there was anything at all with such short notice (we called at the 35 day mark). I know we will have a great time no matter what.
