We have one day/2 nights before a cruise in Dec and wondered whether it was worth going to Universal for just the day for the Xmas celebrations?!!!!
What happens at US and IOA? Parades, fireworks, decorations etc? Is it worth a special trip? What about the hotels?
Would love to hear all opinions and see any photos!

I can't tell you much about the decorations as I won't actually get to see them myself until Xmas 2010!!
) and there is a Macys Day parade at Universal which has HUGE floats like the ones in the parade they have in New York. So that sounds good too!!
Whilst I love the Disney hotels, the Universal ones (especially with the front of line access to the rides) are fantastic!! I thoroughly recommend staying on site - its so easy to walk to all the parks and city walk for the restaurants (infact we did much the same as your trip - 3 nights at Hard Rock and then the
