Is it worth doing MVMCP twice in one trip??

This will be our first time going to WDW in December. We are DVC members and AP holders. Looking at the abbreviated hours, there is one night where everything is closed by 8:00 except for MVMCP. We already have tickets to the party for another night. Just wondering if it is worth paying for another to enjoy a park that evening. This is only a five day four night trip and we want to make the most of it. It is also the night before we leave.

To be honest with you, we have done the xmas party twice in one vacation before. And we loved it. We also try to make the most out of our vacation. I know some people will tell you that it may be a waste of money since you have to pay for a seperate ticket. But it gets us in such a mood for christmas that we don't mind. We are actually thinking about going again twice this year. I say go for it, if you really want to!!!!

Also remember that most the resort viewing is not over until 10:00 so that might be a good might to do some resort hopping instead of another night at MVMCP.

While I absolutely love MVMCP, I don't think that its worth doing twice in one year. We've always had enough time to do the things we wanted to do in just the one night.

I enjoyed MVMCP but once per trip was enough. Epcot is open evey night until 9:30 during holiday time.

This year will be my first MVMCP, but I've definately done more than one MNSSHP in the same week before. If the $ isn't a problem, I can highly recommend more than one party a week. Since MVMCP seems to have more shows/etc. than the MNSSHP, I can imagine more than one might be beneficial to "see it all". I'm planning on two for my trip in Dec.

I've done MVMCP twice in one 8 day trip and in all honesty, it was too much. I just didn't enjoy it the 2nd time. So much so that the last time I went in Dec, I skipped the party all together.

I agree that you can either go to Epcot or tour the resorts. I'd much rather do that than MVMCP twice in a trip!

We're doing MVMCP twice this trip, we spend the majority of our time at the MK just hanging out anyway so it's worth it for us.

Thanks for the replies. I might just play it by ear and get tickets for that night if the mood strikes us. I don't think that night will sell out. If it does, our decision will be made for us.

Last year my DH and I had planned on just doing 1 MVMCP however after we attended the first one and still had not seen all of the special shows, 2 nights later we decided to spring for another night. Totally worth it!!

We went one year to the party and decided we wanted to go a second time:
1. We love MK at night and party is only time it was open at night
2. See fireworks again
3. See a couple of shows we missed

.... and all the tickets sold out for the only other show while we were there ... I was really bummed so if you decide to do it, buy your tickets before the day of ....
