I am looking at renting a car on June for our disney trip.

I can pick up a car at the car care center and drop it off at mco for $230ish.

Or I can take ME to mco and pick up a car there on our last day on property and save myself $65.

What do you all think?

When I'm on vacation, time = money. Is it worth it to take 2+ hours out of your vacation, plus deal with airport traffic, in order to save $65?

I know it wouldn't be happening on my vacation.

No I would not take ME back to MCO for $65. Hundreds..yes. But not for less.

Did you check the price of picking up a car at the Dolphin? It might be cheaper.

Why not pickup and drop off at MCO? Often renting for a week is less expensive than 3-4 days. Not sure about your duration...last Jan I rented a minivan through Budget (Costco rate) for around $150 (taxes included) for a week. The price was high, until a week before and then bottomed out. Keep looking until you leave for your trip. Unless you go the Priceline route, you can cancel/rebook as much as you like.

I agree that time = $, and time on vacation is at a premium. For us, sending one person to collect luggage, the other to rent the car and then pick up the party saved some time over taking ME. Plus we had our luggage in our hands when we checked in vs. waiting hours to have it arrive/delivered.
