is it worth $200 for photo package?

I selected the unlimited photo package for our cruise starting in 12 days. The price in my app itinerary shows price as $0. Anyone know why? I thought it should show the $195 pre-cruise price????

Hi all

Just an update. We ended up keeping the unlimited package. On night 2 of 3 we viewed the photos taken on the kiosk and it was around 50 or so. Most were from the royal gathering. Lots of the character lines were long and we didn’t want to wait. Wr also took photos on our phones so basically duplicates. we went to the booth and asked to have the package canceled. To our surprise no pushback easy click and we were refunded. So I don’t think we will purchase the package again. Even at the royal gathering the cast members took photos its with our phone

Does anyone know by chance how/if the photo package works on combined reservations? Does each reservation need to purchase the photo package or is it combined like the reservations? If not combined, do we by chance get all the photos in our photo package that have people from other rooms/reservations in them with us?

Any info is helpful. We board in 2 days for our first Disney cruise and are just trying to figure out if the other family going with us should also purchase the photo package discounted before we are onboard.

Each reservation/room must purchase their own packages.

For example:

Room 1 - Mom, Dad, 2 minor children
Room 2 - Grandma, Grandpa,
Room 3 - Aunt Sue, Uncle Ron, 1 adult child

If room 1 purchases the unlimited photo package only those photos that include some one in Room 1 in them. Photos taken of only Grandma & grandkids would be included (2 minor children in room purchasing package are in it). Or photos taken with only Aunt Sue's family won't be included (no one from room 1 in them).

There is an option where if one room purchases a full package a full price (includes the "full" discount price), then a second room can purchase a full package at 50% off once onboard.

Thank you so much! That is so helpful!

For the last part that you noted about the buy one at full price, get the other at 50% off - do you know if we have to specify that once on board immediately? Or can we get that promo once we see the photos taken and renegotiate to get that promo the last night of the cruise when we decide keep the package, toss the package, or do the B1G50%off with the other family?

AFAIK, once onboard you can add the 50% off package at any time. Or, you can go ahead and purchase it, and if there's not enough pictures for you to feel it warrants having the package, cancel it (as long as you cancel by the last full day of the cruise).
