Is it Winter or Spring???

We could get up to a foot of snow tonight. That wet, heavy snow that breaks branches, but melts fast. The mountians could get up to three feet.

Now, I understand we need the moisture because we are headed to another drought, but I am leaving for Kansas tomorrow afternoon to go to two of Sarah's wedding showers, and I DON'T WANT TO MISS THEM!!!!!

It should be starting here in about an hour. The clouds are really getting low now over the Flatirons. Hopefully it will be done about noon tomorrow according to the weather reports. Hope the roads are clear by the time you leave. Have a good trip and have fun at the wedding showers (or should i say the snow showers). Back a few weeks ago when we had 70's and 80's, I got all my spring and summer clothes out and put away the winter stuff. So much for getting a head start. LOL

Our music minister is from Tasmania, and always lets us know, when he goes home for Christmas, that it's summer there. I could enjoy living my life 1/2 in Australia, and 1/2 in America.

The good news is that is is just rain for now. The bad news is that if this WERE snow, we would already have about 10"

We just got a little rain earlier this afternoon. It's just grey, cold and windy. Last year we had such a big snowstorm Mother's Day weekend. We were in Kansas for Sarah's graduation and had to delay our return due to the snow.

Spring storms can be sooo bad!

Well, no snow expected here...thank goodness!! But this past weekend I spent in bathing suit doing yard work (87) and on Tuesday when I went shopping wore my winter coat (40's) and today is sorta inbetween......jeans and a sweatshirt but still a bit chilly (55)

It is cold and rainy here today. I have some housework to do but I've sat here all day. I'm in a "rainy cold day mood".

SNOW?! ARGGGGGGGGGG! Here today it feels more like summer. It's nearly 80. I've got shorts on!

Back to reality tomorrow though when the high temp is suppose to be mid 50's.
