Is it weird that there is no availability for december 2013?

I'm new to traveling to WDW during holiday time, so maybe it does feel up this quickly. I was looking for December 11-15, 2013 and the website is showing no availability at value resorts. Do you think they are really full already?

You can't book that far in advance. I believe the limit is 499 days. Those rooms won't show on the website until then.

They won't be sold out, just too early to get pricing/reservations for that timeframe since they just opened up 2013. I tried for next Aug. and they aren't showing up yet. You just have to keep checking or give them a call and ask when they will be available.

is it 499 from arrival or last day? I'm anxiously awaiting some late December dates too. Was gonna book a bounceback in April but we changed our dates to go over NYE so I'm sure there will be nothing for that time period. I want to book it asap though so I'm guaranteed where I want to be

you should be able to book Aug 2013 now. I think December 31 is only 531 days out or something so thru end of November should be bookable at this point

Couldn't leave well enough alone. I just checked Aug 25-31 and it came up ok

i called reservations todaybto book package for Nov 29-Dec 1 and they said to call back next Friday.

Today is the 500 mark so im a bit confused?!

That is correct; I am waiting to book the resort part of my cruise; so I have a few more days to wait.
