Today I pack for a little vacation to So CA - meeting up with family from Chicago and both my adult kids live there. And then ..... on Sunday it's three days in DL!!! What a good little Disney fix prior to my trip to AKV next month!!!

So all week I have been giving demos of my project to the conference attendees at a booth, but today is the day that I present to the whole conference... I have to stand up and give my presentation...

I know this sounds crazy but me presenting to one person, or 5 persons is easy, for me to present my findings to 100's at one time and field questions gets me all nervous, I turned red and start to sweat... So please wish me luck... 4 PM today I will be on the stage....

You'll do great and here's a little sprinkling of just to make sure!

Please keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow. After the aborted move to Dubai last year, I have applied for another promotion here in Manchester and it is all happening. I had a written test yesterday, psychometric testing today and I will have two assessments tomorrow: a presentation for which I will only find out the topic tomorrow and then have 45 minutes to prepare and a role play. If I get through both OK, I will have my interview the same day as they know that I am going away on vacation. Everybody else will have their interview while we are on the cruise. If I should be successful, I will get to work with my former mentor again who is also one of my closest friends at work. Another friend has also applied and as there are two positions, I hope that we both get them. This would be a dream come true.

We leave in two days

Seen the weather and it is supposed to pour on Friday. Not that we need any more rain in NJ (my client told me yesterday he had 55" of water in his house that rose in 4 hours. He is not sure when he can return home)

I am praying our flight is not delayed as we leave after 6 pm and Newark has notorious weather delays.
