LOVE this resort!!! The staff has been FANTASTIC thus far.
We are staying in a Savannah view, Jambo on the fifth floor. My ONLY gripe is that our only real view is of trees!!! So far, since yesterday, we have only seen a bird or two from up here....We are on the Kudu trail. Kind of a bummer, but the resort itself is making up for it........About to go downstairs for some animal viewing....

It's almost 7PM and I've got dinner in a holding pattern becuase we used an inept drapery company to clean our drapes at one of our rental properties. The guy is still there installing the drapes. And it's been months that we have been trying to get them to put them back up. He started at 1PM, said it would be 5 hours and now it's 6. I don't want to start dinner until after he's done becuase I don't want to get up mid dinner to go pay him and sign off on the job. But I'm starving!

Kim's tags are as they were when I woke up.

Ha! That's on the "What's for Dinner Thread!", but I have a Dungeness Crab all cleaned ready to heat, instant potatoes and green salad. I have no idea what is taking so long, but I'm getting dizzy with hunger. I'm going to go make the salad and maybe we'll eat that now!

...and, speaking of cruises, I am seriously thinking about giving my family a one-day NCL cruise [to nowhere] for Christmas - it leaves right outta NYC and it's $99/pp for an inside cabin and $129/pp for an outside one....we've never cruised before (well, other than my oldest DS) and I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to check one out...hey, it's no AKL, but at least it's a'mini getaway'....

I was trying to find out if the pods made single cups or more, and found this article. http://cuisinartcoffee.com/ It could be a single or a 4-cup pod. They had espresso pods in the CL, and they were so easy to use, really cut down on the mess, no filter to mess with, you just slide in the pod and the machine takes care of the rest. For those worried about it, I really think you'll be pleased when you try it.

Nine recitals down (I wasn't in bed last night; I was cleaning up the studio!) and only nine more to go!!

Bob's coumadin level has finally settled out to am acceptable number so we don't have to go back to the clinic for three weeks! If it stays there they will lengthen that to four and finally six. That will be nice for both of us.

My Christmas tree had a lovely little vine growing around it that they kindly removed when I bought it. Problem is, that vine was poison ivy and I now am sporting a lovely stripe of it in the smile line around the left side of my mouth. Sheesh...
