Is it true that at the contemporary

they now have coffeemakers in the rooms? If so, do I need to bring my own coffee or will housekeeping replace it daily (for no charge)?

Also, does anyone have a current update on the renovations there?

yes, there was a coffeemaker in our room, with a packet of coffee.

I suppose housekeeping replenishes it every day because each housekeeping cart we passed had tons of coffee packets.

Yes, they give you new coffee and tea everyday. It's good coffee too, much better than what is served in the Disney Restaurants. Contemporary also has a coffee bar in the lobby that serves "real" coffee and specialty coffee drinks (Lattees, Frappuccinos, etc).

The renovations are to be completed sometime in 2006. They are working on the South Wing now. I think the North Wing is supposed to start soon (I imagine when the South Wing is near completion). They are also on something like the 10th floor of the tower and working their way down.
