Is it true?? Free dining dates announced?

I hear Free dining can be booked to anyone, regardless if you have a Disney Visa on Thursday? We are going to WDW Sept 4-10. I have already booked though. Will they give me free dining or do I have to cancel and rebook? I'm still new at this so I don't know the in's and out's of it all.

You must call & specifically book for free dining. They will not automatically chaneg you exisiting reservation - you must ask for it.

Disney Visa holders can call today; everyone else can call thursday.

I was going to have my TA call and see if it can be added since we are already booked for Sept. Do you think Disney will let us have it?

My TA emailed me on Saturday telling me about the dining. I think she should be able to give it to me since I'm already booked! I'm thinking of adding a day to my current reservation if I get free dining!!!

You do not have to cancel and re~book, you just have to call and have it added to your reservation.
I had our trip booked a couple of weeks ago and I just had to call this morning (for the DV early booking) and they just applied it to my reservation, nice and easy

On the main DISboards page under Updates where the free dining announcement was made by DU.

I see the ZHE discount code for May package with dining that was there before (and it is listed under the announcement for free dining), but I don't think that is actually 'free dining' that you can add to packages you have already booked. Am I missing something?

Same here. I went back and read under updates. The info re: May discount codes is listed under the annoucement for free dining. I see they list the free dining from 8/26 - 9/22..I don't think there is free dining for May either. All I see is the discount codes for May packages...nothing about free dining. Confusing!

NO free dining for May....wouldn't make much sense since that's a busier time than September. The whole point of free dining is to book rooms.
